Playing the tape recorder all over again
One day President Kim Il Sung called a conference of officials in the agricultural sector of North Hamgyong Province. At the meeting he gave succinct explanation about principles which were important in doing farming jobs in a scientific way, including the one of setting up a proper fertilizing system in accordance with the growing effect of the cold front.
Hours later he asked an official to bring a tape recorder. Now he turned it on, telling the participants to hear data on sci-tech information on phosphatic fertilizer. It was an introduction of the effect and advantage of the phosphatic fertilizer, the amount of application, and some warnings about the use of the fertilizer.
The participants wrote down the information busily. While looking around them, the President noticed there were some people who could not jot down the content fully.
The President turned off the recorder. I am afraid there are some people who have failed to put down the information fully, he said. Saying that he would play the recorder all over again, he turned the tape back and played it again.
The conference hall was filled with emotion. They knew how much he was concerned to let all the officials have deep knowledge of agricultural science and technology.
The President was so anxious to have the officials learn all the principles of scientific farming and give scientific and technical guidance to farming jobs.
