His desire
One summer night the light in the office of President Kim Il Sung remained on deep into the night. Too anxious to wait any more, some officials walked into the office and told the President that the night was far advanced.
Now turning his eyes from the document he was studying, the President said in a casual voice that he was going to propose the matter of candy and cooking oil production to the conference expected to be held the next day.
Managing their surging emotion, the officials said again that the night had almost gone and the dawn was breaking.
After a while of silence, the President said that his lifelong desire was to provide the children and people with candies and oil sufficiently.
After spending the night while working for the people, he gave important instruction at the next day’s conference of officials in the sector of foodstuff industry on how to increase the production of candies and oil and supply them to the people.
